So, I’m not like health nut crazy going all organic and eating super foods like acai berries and chia seeds. Not that there’s anything wrong with acai berries, chia seeds and organic foods but the practise is not to the extreme. But I am a believer of juicing. I have a daughter that I find hard to believe came from my womb because she is picky with fruits. FRUITS! What a nightmare. Getting her to eat fruits is almost as difficult as pushing out a number 2 when you’re constipated. Which is what she will probably suffer if she don’t eat her fruits.
I digress.
She does, however, takes fruit juices. Fruit juices outside the house can sometimes be filled with sugar and though they claim to have all the goodness and such, you tend to have that itty bitty suspicion. When you have your own juicer at home, it is great to just whip up a big batch to give out to everyone.
This is called a basic green juice because you can jazz it up with other additions like ginger, lemon, limes and even leafy greens like spinach and kale. But this is my version of a basic green juice using common ingredients. Green juices are good for cleansing the body of toxins, gives you more energy, improves digestion and builds your immune system.
Enjoy
