CNY Homecoming (1)

Greetings from the land of ‘CATS’….I have been having a rather relaxing time eating and eating and eating…..just before we flew back, I got on the scale just to test if it was working because we wanted to weigh whether our luggage was overloaded, I was 4 kgs lighter than my normal weight, I told hubby…‘This thing is broken leh….cannot be I weigh less than my normal scale…‘ Hubster got on the scale and exclaimed, ‘No, it’s correct. My weight is correct.‘ Okay, at the risk on incurring the wrath of people who are finding it hard to loose weight, I’m not trying to side-brag here but it’s just that I never thought I would lose weight anymore after having this blog. So, I took that as my green light to really go all out this CNY.

The first thing I noticed when I came home was that there were more plants surrounding the porch area. That’s never a bad thing. I have a huge garden outside and when I was younger, it was pretty barren because no one had ever thought to spend time to do anything about it, but now my mom has transformed it into an oasis of fruit trees. Plants and veges seem to just bloom here in my house, which is why I get frustrated when I can’t even successfully plant something in my own backyard.

papayas, soursop tree

I shall be updating with short postings because my home Internet tends to load photos too slow for my liking. For the meantime….Happy Eve Dinner to all who’s celebrating!

Hi wendy, it’s sooooo jam here. So many cars everywhere we go, I made my mom do her version of kolo mee. 🙂 You enjoy your CNY feast too!
