Edible Portraitures – Apples and Fall Series

I recently went and bought two big bags of apples because my son seems to be asking for them a lot. But as always the case, after I have bought them, he wants something else like grapes or bananas and would not touch the apples. *sigh….good thing you can always bake with them. But this was also a chance for some photo shoots because it’s the season of fall.

If I have not said it before, I will say it again, I love fall and this series of apples in a wooden bowl was reflective of that note. There was even an apple that still has a withered leaf on its stem, which is very rare. I thought I make it look sombre and peaceful like how I imagined the colour would be when you usher in winter.
